Campagnolo is an Italian SME specialized in the manufacture of parts and components for cycles and motorcycles, including competition. The company of 420 employees based in Vicenza (Veneto). It is characterized by its innovative technical and aesthetic quality of its products. Its business has diversified into the automobile, including Formula 1, in aeronautics and space. The company was founded in 1933 by Gentullio (called Tullio) Campagnolo, born in 1901 and promising young amateur Italian cycling in the early 1920s. He had already filed a first patent in 1930 derailleur to stick and laid it in all major countries. He made the first copy in 1933 in the back room of his father, Valentino, ironmonger.
